Andronikos 8 was hypatos and eparch of Thessalonike; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth and the mid ninth centuries: Zacos and Veglery 1717A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Ανδρον. - κω υπατω . - επαρχω Θ. - .. αλον'. The name and titles read: Ἀνδρονίκῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ ἐπάρχῳ Θεσσαλονίκης.
