Andronas 1 was basilikos spatharios and strategos of the Kibyrrhaiotai; owner of a seal dateable to the iconoclast period (VIII/M IX): Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 403, no. 532. Obv.: cruciform monogram in the name of the Virgin. Rev.: Ἀνδρωνᾶς βασιλικὸς σπαθάριος and στρατηγὸς τῶν Κιβυρῥαιωτων. Cf. also Andronas 3.
