Andreas 45 was basilikos protospatharios and droungarios of the ploïmon; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century (so Zacos and Veglery; Laurent dated it to the first half of the ninth): Zacos and Veglery 1715 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 952. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - .. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .....εα - β' α' σπαθα' και - δρουγγ' του - πλοημ'. The name is presumably Andreas. The name and titles read: (Ἀνδρ)έᾳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ δρουγγαρίῳ τοῦ πλοΐμου.
