Andreas 25 was bishop of Pergamon; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth or the tenth century (the form of the beta, like a capital Roman R, first appears in the early to mid ninth): Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 287. Obv.: bust of St Demetrios with the legend ὁ ἅγιος Δημήτριος and the invocative formula ἅγιε Δημήτριε βοήθει. Rev.: +Ανδ - ρεα επις - κοπω Πε - ργαμου.
