Anastasios 61 was a tax collector (φορολόγος); addressee of three letters from the patriarch Photius (Photios 1), written between 859 and September 867: Photius, Ep. 52 (I 98 Laourdas-Westerink) (addressed Ἀναστασίῳ φορολόγῳ), Ep. 53-54 (I 98f. Laourdas-Westerink) (both addressed τῷ αὐτῷ). The first two letters complain of his avarice, the third praises him for giving his wealth away.
