Anastasios 56 hamartolos (the sinner) was the owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1700. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Ανα - στασιω - αμαρτω - λω. The name and title read: Ἀναστασίῳ ἁμαρτωλῷ. Possibly he was a monk.
