Anastasios 42 was the owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century; his name is in the form of a monogram originally read as Νάστῳ; the available letters suggest that the name should be read as Ἀναστασίῳ, but inspection of the monogram is necessary to confirm this hypothesis: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 8, 911.
