Anastasios 33 was patrikios and exarchos; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 514, no. 1 (facsimile) (from Salinas, " Sigilli diplomatici"). Obv.: image of Virgin, standing, with Child, between four small crosses and cruciform monograms of Θεοτόκε and βοήθει. Rev.: +Ανα - στασιωι - πατρικι - ωι (καὶ) εξαρ - χῳ. Perhaps exarchos of Italy.
