Ambros 2 was basilikos spatharios and topoteretes of the Exkoubiton; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 3075. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει, with .ω - ς. - δου - λ. in the corners. Rev.: +Αμ.. - ω β' ς... - τοπ.τε. - του εξ. - ουβι.. The name and titles can be read: Ἄμβρῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ τοποτηρητῇ τοῦ Ἐξκουβίτου.
