Agnellos 1 was bishop of Tarracina in Campania; he was one of the hundred and twenty- five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680 and subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 140, line 11 (= Mansi XI 300) (Ἀγνέλλος χάριτι Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐν Τερρακένῃ ἐκκλησίας ἐπαρχίας Καμπανίας).
