Abd ar-Rahman 4 was the owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century; no title is recorded: Zacos and Veglery 3070. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with το - σο - δου - λο in the corners. Rev.: Αβδρα - χαμα. The name reads: Ἀβδραχάμᾳ. It is presumably a Greek formation of the Arabic name "Abd ar-Rahman", and the man was presumably of Arabic origin.
