Basilios 148 was a basilikos spatharios and logothetes of the agelai; owner of seals dateable to the late eighth or early ninth century: Laurent, Corpus II 579, Schlumberger, Mélanges, no. 120. The name and titles read: Βασιλείῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τῶν ἀγελῶν.
